Animal Adoption Centers Dogs
The World Animal Foundation (WAF) is dedicated to the preservation of the planet and the animals that inhabit it. WAF works through public education, research, investigations, animal rescue, legislation, special events and direct action.
WAF has members throughout the world and on every continent. Through their volunteer network the World Animal Foundation attempts to make the world a more compassionate place for wild animals, companion animals, aquatic animals and farm animals.
WAF has a large internet presence and has recruited members from around the globe to educate the public about environmental and animal issues. Its large and informative web site, www.WorldAnimalFoundation.com, acts as a one-stop information portal for people wishing to learn more about animals and the earth. Visitors can print dozens of free flyers and fact sheets and surf hundreds of pages regarding wildlife, endangered species, companion animals, aquatic animals and farm animals.
In addition to its company web site, the World Animal Foundation also operates a fund-raising site under the name “Tree Frog Trading Co.” Tree Frog Trading Co. is a world marketplace offering thousands of items from around the globe, including unique gifts, home decor and exotic imports. Merchandise can also be purchased through full-color catalogs. All proceeds benefit the World Animal Foundation in its mission to preserve and protect the planet and the animals that inhabit it.
WAF operates its headquarters in historic Harbor Town at 5725 Liberty Ave. Its headquarters is home to an Animal Information Center and Animal Adoption Center. Visitors will find dozens of fact sheets and flyers on animal issues and can adopt cats and dogs through its Adoption Center. Cats are on premises while dogs are available through WAF’s Foster Home Program.
The headquarters also houses a showroom for Tree Frog Trading Co. offering thousands of unique home decor and gift imports. Customers can purchase catalogs for convenient home shopping also.
